    1. Judging Phase: During the Judging Phase, qualified judges determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will select up to ten (10) Submissions (each a "Finalist") based on the following criteria ("Judging Criteria"):

      • Demonstration of skills and creativity in culinary approach/execution (30%)
      • Quality and originality of entry and demonstrated recipe (25%)
      • Personality and ability to articulate why entrant should be the Chef de Cuisine of 150 Central Park (25%)
      • Relevant work experience in restaurant culinary operations (20%)

In the event of a tie, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will determine the Finalist based on the Submission that received the highest score in the Demonstration of Skills and Creativity category. In the event that there are an insufficient number of Submissions, determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, received during the Submission Phase to select ten (10) Finalists, all qualified Submissions received during the Submission Phase will be named Finalists and advance to the Voting Phase.

    2. Voting Phase: During the Voting Phase, the Finalist Submissions will be posted in an online gallery for public voting at contest.allureoftheseas.com. Limit: Each participant may vote one (1) time per day during the Voting Phase. The votes each Finalist Submission gains during the Voting Phase will go towards the Finalist's score in the Ability to effectively represent the Royal Caribbean brand portion of the judging criteria as part of the Contest Winner Selection Phase, as outlined below in Section 6a III. In its sole discretion, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or select an alternate Finalist should the voting appear to have been tampered with or manipulated in any way. Multiple voters are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any voter to obtain more than the stated number of votes by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that voter's votes and that voter may be disqualified. Use of any automated program to vote will result in disqualification.

    3. Contest Winner Selection Phase: During the Contest Winner Selection Phase, the Finalists will be invited to visit The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY (the "Finalist Event") to participate in a series of interviews and to prepare a three-course meal which will be served to and rated by a panel of qualified judges, determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. The qualified judges will score each Finalist based on the following criteria:

      • Quality and creativity of three-course meal (50%)
      • Ability to effectively answer interview questions (30%); and
      • Ability to effectively represent the Royal Caribbean brand (20%)

The Finalist with the highest combined score will be named the potential Contest Grand Prize winner. In the event of a tie, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will determine the potential Contest Grand Prize winner based on the Finalist that received the highest score in the Quality and Creativity category. Finalists will receive Contest Winner Selection Phase guidelines and restrictions prior to the Finalist Event. Any Finalist who does not participate in the Contest Winner Selection Phase will be disqualified and will not be considered for the Contest Grand Prize. Access to a kitchen, an apprentice appointed by The Culinary Institute of America, and a selection of utensils, equipment, and pantry items as outlined in the Contest Winner Selection Phase guidelines will be provided to the Finalists for use as part of the three-course meal preparation. Finalists are required to ship or bring any ingredients or equipment they wish to use as part of their three-course meal preparation not provided by Sponsor.

  2. Sweepstakes: Sponsor's decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and selection of the potential Sweepstakes winner are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Administrator will randomly select the potential Sweepstakes winner from all eligible entries on or around July 19, 2010 and will notify the potential winner by mail, email or phone at that time.

7. Winner Requirements: All potential Promotion participants must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules; and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Each potential winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability & Publicity Release ("Affidavit"), which must be received by Administrator/Sponsor within five (5) days of the date notice or attempted notice is sent, in order to claim his/her prize. In Sponsor's discretion, each potential Finalist will also be subject to a background check to confirm his/her appropriateness (as solely determined by Sponsor) to represent Sponsor's brand and placement as a Grand Prize winner. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify a potential Finalist based on the results of this background check. If any potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to execute and return the Affidavit or any additional paperwork within the required time period, or any notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits the prize. In the event that a potential Contest Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, the eligible entrant with the next highest combined score will be named the potential winner. If after three (3) attempts the Contest Prize winner is not confirmed, the applicable prize will remain un-awarded. In the event that the potential Sweepstakes Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held after which the Sweepstake Prize will remain un-awarded. Acceptance of any prize shall constitute and signify winner's agreement and consent that Sponsor may use the winner's name, city, state, likeness, Submission and/or prize information in connection with the Promotion, worldwide, including the Internet, without limitation and without further payment or consideration, except where prohibited by law. Without limiting the generality of these Official Rules, winner shall irrevocably grant, transfer, convey and assign to Sponsor the entirety of the rights in and to the Submission and all renewals and extensions of copyright, and the right to secure copyright registrations thereto in perpetuity including, without limitation, the rights to use the Submission for any and all purposes in any and all media whether now known or hereafter developed, on a worldwide basis, in perpetuity. Winner accepts and acknowledges that Sponsor shall not be obligated to use the Submission and that Sponsor in its sole discretion shall have the right to refrain from using the Submission. Sponsor shall not incur any liability whatsoever to the extent Sponsor chooses to refrain from any exploitation of its rights hereunder. Winner will indemnify Sponsor, Released Parties (as defined in Section 9, below) and any licensee of Sponsor against all claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable counsel fees and legal expenses) arising out of any breach of these terms.
